This photo was taken in early 2005. It's clearly an attempt from a next door neighbor to warn potential buyers from purchasing a property that was listed for sale next door. All identifying marks were removed from the photo so that we didn't single anyone out, but it just proves that all homes, properties, areas, and sellers are not created equal.
It also should send a very clear message to home buyers that it's really in your best interest to hire a professional when searching for homes in unfamiliar areas. What looks great when you see it, might not look so great 6 months from now or for that matter, 6 months ago. Purchasing property can be a worthwhile decision, but it's important for you to do your homework first, or at least have someone to help you along the way.
